The Dell Primary School, Chepstow, welcome internationally renowned educator Tim Ryland and award-winning teacher Sarah Neild on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 January.
Tim and Sarah will lead inspirational workshops with the staff and pupils at the school along with invited staff from schools in the Chepstow Primary School Cluster (Thornwell, Pembroke, St. Mary’s and Shirenewton).
On Thursday, Tim will work with pupils from years two, four and six. They will use innovative ICT programmes and methodology to engage and challenge themselves to develop thinking skills, practice creative writing and to “improve on their previous best”.
Friday will see Tim introduce available innovative technologies that schools can use to raise standards and improve the future prospects of pupils. Over 100 educators will engage with Tim to challenge thinking, provoke debate and unite schools in a harmonised approach to raising standards.
David Evans, head-teacher of The Dell Primary School said: “We’re really excited to have Tim and Sarah joining us this week. This is a unique event and we look forward to seeing the results of their workshops”.
