As part of the eBooks for Wales pilot project, Monmouthshire libraries now offer access to over 2,500 ebooks.
Up to four ebooks can be borrowed or reserved at a time and each will be issued for three weeks, after which the book will automatically delete. Ebooks are compatible with ebook readers, tablets and smartphones with the relevant apps, but not yet available on Kindle ebook readers.
Any library members with a PIN can use the service. If you are not yet a library member it’s easy to join. Apply online and collect your library card and pin from your local library to start borrowing eBooks.
Customers who have already used the eBook for Wales service described the titles as “up to date and plentiful”. An exciting mix of fiction, biographies, real life stories, children’s books and non-fiction titles are available.
To begin using the new eBooks service, or to find out more, please visit the Monmouthshire libraries website http://libraries.monmouthshire.gov.uk or visit your local library.
eBooks for Wales is a free eBook download service being funded by a number of Welsh library authorities and CyMAL. This pilot project is match funded by a grant from the Welsh Government.
