Claire Compton, from Chepstow, won a GOLD Award and a BRONZE Award at The Taste of Wales Awards held at Builth Wells. The awards were televised on S4C this last week..
She won the Gold Award for her lemon Curd and a Bronze Award for her Raspberry Vinegar.
Claire works as a Doctor's Receptionist at The Town Gate Practice, Chepstow and in her spare time, not that she has a lot of it, makes chutneys, jams and fruit vinegar for sale, mostly at local markets e.g. Cormeilles Square, Chepstow. She also had a stall this year at The Abergavenny Food Festival.
