THE TOWN MEETINGwill be held in the Palmer Centre, Cormeilles Square, Chepstow (previously the Senior Citizens Centre) at 7.00pm on Monday, 15th July 2013
Residents of Kingsmark, St Mary’s, Larkfield, St Christopher’s and Thornwell Wards are invited to Chepstow’s first Town Meeting.
The meeting will focus on the Health and Community Safety.
Representatives from Aneurin Bevan Health Board, the Welsh Ambulance Service, Gwent Police, Monmouthshire County Council’s CCTV Unit and Chepstow Street Pastors will be making short presentations at the meeting.
The meeting will be chaired by Chepstow Town Mayor,
Cllr Stephanie Dovey and Members of the Town Council will also be present.
Cllr Dovey said 'There will be plenty of opportunity for people to question all of the represented bodies and to raise any other matters of concern.'
She hoped that as many people as possible try to attend this first Town Meeting. This is a new initiative by Chepstow Town Council and provides a real opportunity for them to make their views known.
If the meeting is well attended and there is local interest the Town Council will consider holding further Town Meetings.
