The Minister said:
“Following a productive meeting between Welsh Government officials and the steering group, I have invited Monmouthshire County Council to assist in identifying options for the trunk road to help improve air quality in the area. As part of this study we would like to hear the views of local people on how this could be done, and on any other improvements to safety they would like to see along this stretch of road.”
Anyone with views on these issues is encouraged to contact the Welsh Government to assist with the study. Comments can be emailed to HardwickConsultation@pbworld.com or posted to Hardwick Hill consultation Team, c/o Parsons Brinckerhoff Ltd, 29 Cathedral Road, Cardiff, CF11 9HA by 25th October 2013.
It is anticipated that the study will be completed by the end of this year, subject to the response from the consultation exercise.
